Description
Green Tech Media called 2018 “the year of the Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).” In that case, the question becomes “what took so long and where do we go from here?”

Manufacturers have always sought ways to control power consumption and cost. And today, they are cognizant of the ethical, social, financial, and environmental implications of their power usage.

In that case, the question becomes “do Corporate PPAs allow companies to do both?”

Corporate PPAs: What Now? What’s Next? is a panel discussion looking at why the world’s biggest and most influential companies are choosing to purchase power from non-utility providers.

Moderated by Andrew Clark, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Spark Power Corp., the featured panelists are:
  • Sara Hastings-Simon, Senior Fellow, Pembina Institute
  • Mark Porter, Director, Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance
  • Dan Balaban, Founder, President & CEO, Greengate Power
  • Simin Ghaderi, Senior Energy Progam Coordinator, IMB Canada Limited
The panel will also discuss the risks companies take—economically and ecologically—by not embracing or adopting Corporate PPAs into their sustainability roadmaps.
